Agreement to terms
By using pawpiece.com or placing an order, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the site.
Our service
PawPiece turns a photo of your pet into a custom portrait using our Studio Engine, which we print and frame to order. You upload a photo, choose a style and layout, preview the result, and order a finished print.
Your photo and content
You confirm that you own the photo you upload, or have permission to use it and to have it processed by us. You grant PawPiece a license to use your photo solely to generate your preview, create the artwork for your order, and produce and ship your print — including processing it through our Studio Engine as part of that process.
Artwork from the Studio Engine
Your portrait is created by our Studio Engine, which reinterprets your photo in the chosen style. Results are stylized interpretations, not exact reproductions, and may vary in detail, color, or pose from the source photo. The preview you approve is what we print, so please review it carefully before ordering.
Orders, pricing & payment
Orders are placed and paid for through Shopify, our checkout provider. Prices are shown in USD at checkout. We reserve the right to correct pricing or listing errors and to cancel and refund orders affected by such errors.
Shipping, returns & guarantee
Production times, shipping, and our satisfaction guarantee are described on our Shipping & returns page. Those terms are part of this agreement.
Acceptable use
You agree not to upload photos that are unlawful, infringe someone else's rights, or contain content other than pet/portrait subject matter, and not to use the site in a way that disrupts or abuses our service.
Intellectual property
The PawPiece name, branding, and site content belong to PawPiece. The finished artwork created for your order is yours to keep and display, but PawPiece may use anonymized or de-identified preview images for marketing unless you ask us not to.
Liability
PawPiece is provided "as is." To the extent permitted by law, we aren't liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of the site or your order, beyond the amount you paid for that order.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The effective date above reflects the most recent changes. Continued use of the site after changes means you accept the updated terms.
