Overview
This policy explains what information PawPiece ("we", "us") collects when you use pawpiece.com, why we collect it, and how it's handled. By using the site or placing an order, you agree to this policy.
Information we collect
Contact details you provide, like your name and email address (for example, when you sign up for our newsletter or place an order). The photo(s) and pet name you upload to create a portrait. Order details, including shipping address and payment information, which are collected and processed by Shopify, our e-commerce platform — we do not store full payment card numbers ourselves. Basic usage information such as your cart session, collected via a cookie.
How we use your information
To generate your portrait preview and produce your finished print. To process, fulfill, and ship your order, and to send order and shipping updates. To respond when you contact us. To send occasional newsletter emails about new styles and seasonal drops, only if you've opted in — you can unsubscribe at any time.
Your pet's photo and the Studio Engine
The photo you upload is processed by our Studio Engine to create your stylized portrait, and stored securely so we can render your preview and final print. We use your photo only to create your order. We don't use your photos to train any models, and we don't sell or share your photos for advertising.
Who we share information with
Shopify, for checkout, payments, order management, and (if you opt in) email marketing consent. Our print-on-demand fulfillment partner, who receives your shipping address and finished artwork to print, frame, and ship your order. We don't sell your personal information.
Cookies
We use a small, functional cookie to remember your shopping cart between visits. We don't currently use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
Your choices
You can unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time using the link in any email we send. To request access to, or deletion of, your personal information or uploaded photos, email us at hello@pawpiece.com and we'll respond as soon as we can.
Children's privacy
PawPiece is not directed at children, and we don't knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The effective date above reflects the most recent changes. If we make material changes, we'll update this page.
